I've "wasted" SO many hours (and dudes) playing this!
I remember downloading the original on 56k modem from the author's homepage while hunting for small freewares during my weekly 30-minutes of dialup allowance - came up as one of the best finds I got, which literally shaped my taste in video games🫀
Thank you for your memories. I’m very glad and proud that my game influenced on someone’s taste. When S2 was released, the Polish internet was quite small. We were using mostly news groups on the usenet to share our software and get some help. That was amazing time. S2 was popular mostly on those groups and leaked into the internet cafes and school labs. I enjoyed creating that game so much. It was much fun to get ideas from other people and give them what they want.
And modem… well… probably some first versions of Sadist 1 was even uploaded by my modem 33.6. It was absolute torture.
Wow! Thank you for everything you’ve done! I’m so happy, you know, that game really is 26 years old and it was rusty and forgotten for a long time. I’ve never believed it will rise again. But thanks to the English translation and a bit of promotion (from people like you or Saberman), after many years some new people can play it and have some fun. I hope everyone will enjoy this little sunday massacre ;)
